BIOGRAPHY

I’m an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST), Kunming, China. I received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from School of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, and the Ph.D. degree in Computing and Information Sciences from B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, USA. Before I joined KUST, I held the position of Research Fellow first with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and then with the Faculty of Engineering, Bar Ilan University, Israel. I was listed in Stanford University’s 2024 World’s Top 2% Scientists list.

Research Interests

  • Mechanism design for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoTs).
  • Prescriptive health management and planning in intelligent manufacturing.
  • Machine learning for signal processing and decision-making.
  • Agent AI for autononous vehicles.
